Former Bulldog Zoe Hickel joins Buckeye coaching staff

Hickel has spent the last four seasons playing professional hockey. She played for the National Women’s Hockey League’s (NWHL) Boston Pride and Connecticut Whale, the Kunlan Red Star and Calgary Inferno of the then Canadian Women’s Hockey League and last season with Linkoping HC in Sweden. “I am honored to be joining the women’s hockey program at Ohio State,” Hickel said. “The standard of excellence Coach Muzerall has established, along with the commitment from her staff and the student-athletes, has proven that the Buckeyes will continue to be leaders in the women’s game.
