Ohio State basketball’s Kaleb Wesson invited to NBA Draft Combine

COLUMBUS, Ohio — If the 2020 NBA Draft Combine eventually takes place, Ohio State basketball big man Kaleb Wesson can take part. Wesson was officially invited to the annual showcase event, the Buckeyes announced Monday. However, the combine was originally scheduled for May but was postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. It has not officially been rescheduled. The draft lottery was also postponed. Wesson, a 6-9, 270-pound Westerville native, started all 31 games as a junior and averaged 14.0 points and 9.3 rebounds. He shot 42.5 percent from 3-point range, blocked 31 shots and ranked second on the Buckeyes with 60 assists. This is the second consecutive season in which Wesson declared for the draft, though he left open the option of returning to the Buckeyes.
