Dolphins place former Ohio State linebacker Jerome Baker on reserve/COVID-19 list


MIAMI — The number of former Ohio State football players whose NFL seasons may be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow. The Miami Dolphins announced Friday they placed linebacker Jerome Baker on the reserve/COVID-19 list. That roster designation was created for players who either tested positive for the coronavirus or who are being quarantined after close contact with another infected individual. Clubs are not allowed to disclose for which reason the player was placed on the list. Baker has played in all 32 of the Dolphins’ games since they drafted him in the third round out of OSU in 2018. Last season he made 15 starts and collected 50 tackles, four passes defended, two fumbles forced and an interception.
