Current state order prohibits fans from attending Ohio State, Bengals, Browns games


Last week, it appeared “likely” Ohio State was limiting to 20 percent capacity for this season’s home football games because of social distancing guidelines due to the coronavirus. Now, because of a current state order, that number is moot. A public health order, which went into effect Saturday, prohibits fans at the games of contact sports teams, which, of course, includes but is not limited to the Buckeyes as well as the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. The order remains in effect until the ODH revises or retracts it, or until Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine state of emergency ends, per Cleveland.com.
