COLUMBUS, Ohio — On the same night Buckeye football parents released a letter support Ohio State’s safety protocols related to the coronavirus pandemic, another meeting Big Ten leaders could settle the fate of the 2020 season. Yahoo’s Pete Thamel first reported Big Ten Presidents and Chancellors were scheduled to discuss the fall season on a conference call Sunday night. An Ohio State spokesperson confirmed incoming OSU President Kristina M. Johnson will participate on the call. According to Thamel, some ”momentum at the presidential level” to cancel the 2020 fall season. It is unknown if a vote will be held or if some resolution is expected tonight.
