Ohio State parents release statement in support of 2020 season

The 2020 college football season is on the brink of never happening. According to reports from ESPN, the Power 5 commissioners had an “emergency meeting” on Sunday to discuss the upcoming season and whether or not it was safe to progress with it due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic concerns. According to ESPN, the Big Ten is “ready to pull the plug” on the 2020 fall sports season, with some hope of moving it to the fall. Big Ten presidents will be on a call Sunday evening, after talking on Saturday afternoon, to discuss what to do about the conference’s 2020 season. Kristina Johnson, Ohio State’s president-elect, will be on the Sunday evening call after not being involved on Saturday.
