COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s latest 2022 commit Dasan McCullough of Blue Valley North High School in Kansas is not your typical linebacker. His 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame suggests that he’ll project out to be a future defensive end. But his speed, length and quickness mirrors that of a defensive back. The obvious comparison is former Clemson standout Isaiah Simmons, who’s also from Kansas. McCullough’s — the nation’s No. 48 player and No. 7 athlete — heard the comparisons enough that he’s numb to hearing about it.
