
COLUMBUS, Ohio — California three-star offensive lineman Kenji Swanson isn’t playing football this fall. He’s entering his first year at Sierra Canyon High School after transferring from St. Francis High School, hoping to have a breakout season of sorts as a player who’s already earned 12 offers. He’s rated as the nation’s No. 414 overall player and No. 37 offensive tackle in the initial 247Sports composite rankings with plenty of time to climb up. That climb was supposed to start this past Friday, but instead, he’ll have to wait until Jan. 8 as California is one of 17 states that have postponed fall sports until the spring.
