The weekend of June 12-14 was going to be a huge recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes with most of their verbal commitments planning to make their official visits that weekend plus a number of their remaining top targets including Lexington (Ky.) Douglass offensive lineman Jager Burton. That weekend never happened because the NCAA extended the recruiting dead period. It is a dead period that has continued to be extended. And now Burton has decided he is not going to wait any longer. Burton has posted on his Twitter account that he will announce his college choice on Aug. 30 at 6:00 pm ET.
