Tyleik Williams, 4-star 2021 DT, commits to Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 recruiting class has added its 19th commitment in Virginia defensive lineman Tyleik Williams of Unity Reed High School. The Buckeyes have been looking to add another interior defensive lineman to go alongside Mike Hall Jr. and found it in the nation’s No. 159 overall player and No. 10 defensive tackle. He chose OSU over 30 other schools with Alabama, LSU, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia Tech serving as his final options. The 6-foot-3, 330-pound Williams was long crystal-balled to choose the Hokies before things swung in the Buckeyes’ favor on Monday night when he announced he was ready to deicide. 1He had multiple conversations with defensive line coach Larry Johnson but has never visited the campus.
