NCAA Chief Medical Officer Not Opposed to Football this Autumn NCAA Chief Medical Officer Dr. Brian Hainline is considered perhaps the most important voice in medicine for intercollegiate athletics and he indirectly gave the Big Ten’s decision to postpone football a major criticism.
