COLUMBUS, Ohio — A week ago, the Big Ten brought back football for the fall, ending a long six weeks of wondering what the future for the conference would be. That wait made some Ohio State fans wonder about the rest of the conference, which was more of a knee-jerk reaction of frustration than anything else. Still … are these the right teams for the Buckeyes to be associating with? Ohio State has been part of what would come to be known as the Big Ten conference since 1912, and it’s obviously the flagship football program in the 14-team conference now. But could it be better?
