Ohio State football inside look: What we learned about the offense from Saturday’s practice in Ohio Stadium


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is three weeks from its season-opener against Nebraska and decided to take a Saturday practice inside Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes went through their first scrimmage where they can actually tackle and wanted to get acquainted with the atmosphere they’ll play in for four games. Other than the media invited to watch the first 30 minutes of practice, there weren’t people in the stands, but there was plenty of music and highlight videos to make up for the lack of a crowd. Here are some observations: Justin Fields reps exclusively with the starting wide receivers Fields is Ohio State’s starting quarterback and with that comes as many reps as he wants.
