Oscar Delp, 2022 tight end, earns Ohio State football offer: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Tight end Oscar Delp of West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Ga. is the first player since Sept. 7 to earn an Ohio State football offer. Delp doesn’t have a composite or 247Sports ranking but holds offers from 15 schools including Georgia, Michigan and USC. The Wolverines have one crystal ball favoring the 6-foot-5, 220-pound junior as the fourth member of its seventh-ranked recruiting class. He’s the fifth 2022 tight end to earn an OSU offer with the Buckeyes already having a commitment from fellow Georgia native Bennett Christian. The Buckeyes are looking for two tight ends in the class and it’s top option to join Christian is Benji Gosnell who is hoping to visit in the next few months.
