COLUMBUS, Ohio — Great wide receivers want to play with great quarterbacks, and the commitment to the Ohio State football program by Caleb Burton of Texas’ Del Valle High School is another example of that. The five-star recruit chose the Buckeyes less than a week after Quinn Ewers — the nation’s No. 1 quarterback — joined the class as the third five-star commit. It’s also a continuation of Ohio State’s success in the Longhorn State. As the No. 15 overall player and No. 2 wide receiver in the 2022 recruiting class, he is the seventh player of that caliber OSU has landed from the state since 2017.
