
EAST LANSING – Michigan State already had a pair of wins against ranked teams this season. The Spartans’ attempt at a third upset and their biggest of the year was nowhere close to happening. No. 4 Ohio State (5-0) dominated Michigan State (2-4) from start to finish for a 52-12 win on Saturday in East Lansing. The Buckeyes jumped out 28-0 lead in the first half and cruised to the win to their fifth straight victory against the Spartans. The blowout came as Ohio State was without key players on both sides of the ball – including three starting offensive linemen – one week after canceling its game at Illinois due to positive COVID-19 results.
