So did three offensive line starters, a three-time starting linebacker and two other significant defensive rotation players. A recent increase in coronavirus cases diminished Ohio State’s travel roster to East Lansing, but not its dominance. A defense in needed of a bounce-back performance responded with an emphatic statement, smothering Michigan State in a 52-12 victory at Spartan Stadium. Justin Fields bounced back from his three-interception performance against Indiana to spark the Buckeyes with his arm and feet.
