Justin Fields, Drue Chrisman earn Big Ten Player of the Week honors: Ohio State football news


COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the second time this season, Justin Fields has earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors following his performances in Ohio State football’s 52-12 win over Michigan State. Fields used the win over the Spartans to bounce back from a less than stellar outing against Indiana where he threw three interceptions. Despite being without three vital members on the offensive line, he completed 17 of 24 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a career-high 104 yards and two touchdowns, with his longest run being for 41 yards. He also won the weekly award following a 38-25 road win over Penn State in the Buckeyes’ second game of the season.
