Michael Thomas breaks another record, becoming fastest in history to 500 catches: Ohio State NFL roundup

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Saints receiver and former Buckeye Michael Thomas just keeps breaking records. Earlier this season, he set the NFL record for the most catches by a player in his first five seasons. On Sunday, Thomas became the fastest player in NFL history to record 500 career catches, doing so in just 69 games. He had nine catches for 105 yards from backup quarterback Taysom Hill as the Saints beat the Falcons, 21-16, to secure a playoff spot in the NFC once again.
