As Ohio State football players return from coronavirus cases, coach Ryan Day keeps preaching caution


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day said Thursday the Buckeyes expect to have players who were not available against Michigan State back for the Big Ten championship game. Speaking on The Ryan Day Show on 97.1 The Fan, Day said some players are already returning to practice. Players who test positive for coronavirus must refrain from competition for 21 days, per Big Ten Conference rules. Other players may have been out due to contact tracing. However, Day keeps preaching diligence and responsibility. Ohio State lost three scheduled games this season due to COVID-19 case increases for itself (once) or opponents (twice).
