
COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s evident that Justin Fields is the best player on Ohio State football’s roster, but who would be the next nine? The Buckeyes don’t have a long list of bonafide superstars like they had in 2019 with J.K. Dobbins, Jeff Okudah and Chase Young. The 2020 roster has a deeper middle class where there is a case for maybe 10-15 players that deserve to be mentioned inside of a top ten. That group includes everything second-year five-stars coming into their own to fifth-year seniors who have been reliable for the bulk of their careers. Despite the lack of household names at a national level, Ohio State is still the clear best team in the Big Ten and in position for its second straight trip to the College Football Playoff.
