The debate about Ohio State being in the College Football Playoff almost ended up being a lot of wasted breath. The fourth-ranked Buckeyes struggled for three quarters before rallying past No. 14 Northwestern 22-10 to win the Big Ten championship game for the fourth consecutive season. Ohio State entered ranked fourth in scoring at more than 46 points per game, led by quarterback Justin Fields.
