Ohio State and Penn State played a barn-burner of a basketball game on Wednesday night that could have gone either way. It was a back-and-forth affair from tip to buzzer. The Buckeyes came out hot, absorbed a huge push from a frenzied Nittany Lion squad to fall behind, then rallied to win it 83-79 at the very end. It was a chaotic, yet physical style of ball you would expect in the Big Ten, but also highly entertaining. At the end of the day, it was a win that ran OSU’s overall record on the year to 13-4 and kept the Bucks in fifth place in a tough league with a 7-4 record conference record — just two games behind first.
