Ohio State running back Trey Sermon only spent one season in scarlet and gray, but he certainly made the most of what was an unpredictable season. Coming off an ACL tear and an uncertain future at Oklahoma, Sermon decided to transfer to Ohio State and see if he could make a run with the Buckeyes. And run he did. After learning to fully trust his surgically repaired knee, Sermon showed up when his team needed him the most. With Master Teague going down in the Big Ten Championship with a concussion, the Oklahoma transfer would go on to break a 25-year-old record for rushing yards in a game once held by Eddie George. To add to his career day, Sermon helped lead the Buckeyes to victory over Clemson in the Sugar Bowl.
