
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team will head into its final eight games of the regular season with a 14-4 record and 8-4 in the Big Ten. Following wins over Penn State and Michigan State, the Buckeyes are considered a top ten team in the country heading into the last month of the season. Coach Chris Holtmann found out a lot about his team through the first month of Big Ten play, and also found some quality wins. Holtmann thought the 2019-20 roster was capable of getting to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament had the season not ended early because of COVID concerns. He felt confident in that roster despite its clear flaws and a less-than-stellar January that might’ve said otherwise. The 2020-21 roster doesn’t have the same flaws.
