COLUMBUS, Ohio — The combination of a perennial College Football Playoff contender and luxurious facilities are only two of the many reasons recruits choose where they want to play. Ohio State has both of those components. But what may be working in its favor the most are coaches who are elite recruiters. For the class of 2021, Ohio State’s Greg Studrawa was ranked by 247Sports as the best recruiter in the Big Ten among offensive line coaches. Nationally, Studrawa only trailed Notre Dame’s Jeff Quinn, Texas A&M’s Josh Henson and Clemson’s Robbie Caldwell among those who coach the quarterback’s protective unit. Studrawa played a role in adding the nation’s No. 1 guard Donovan Jackson to the 2021 class and also brought in the No. 7 guard in Ben Christman and No. 22 tackle in Zen Michalski.
