COLUMBUS, Ohio — According to various 2021 NFL Mock Drafts, Ohio State football’s Justin Fields could be the most important player in the near future of the Miami Dolphins. And that’s according to the predictions that do not have the Dolphins taking the Buckeyes quarterback in the top 10 picks of the first round. Opinion seems to be coalescing around Fields as the third quarterback off the board when the NFL Draft begins on April 29 (hopefully) in Cleveland. After that, though, a handful of different teams have been projected to trade up and take the 2019 Heisman Trophy finalist at No. 3 overall. Others say a quarterback-needy team can wait and take Fields later among the top eight picks. If Jacksonville selects Trevor Lawrence or the New York Jets (or their trade partner) take BYU’s Zack Wilson No. 2, Miami’s phone will certainly ring — and the Dolphins better…
