COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football hasn’t landed five-star defensive ends in back-to-back recruiting classes since 2016 and 2017. Those two players — Nick Bosa and Chase Young — turned into No. 2 picks in their respective NFL drafts. Since signing Young, the Buckeyes have looked within Ohio to find top-tier edge rushers while alternating five-star ends every other year. OSU doesn’t have to go heavy at defensive end in 2022, especially with J.T Tuimoloau still on the board in 2021. But it could be in a position to do something that hasn’t happened in five cycles by potentially landing Enai White.
