THE BATTLE: Jackson trimmed his list down to 12 schools last June listing the Buckeyes alongside Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.), North Carolina, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Penn State.
