Ohio State came out with a release on Friday announcing that three of the school’s 12 regular season games have already been selected by the FOX network. The surprise is the Sept. 2 season opener at Minnesota, a special Thursday night game, will be televised by FOX. The start time will be announced at a later date. Under the FOX/Big Ten deal struck in 2017, the network has never carried a Thursday night game. It had been announced on Thursday that FOX would televise the Sept. 11 game with Oregon visiting Ohio State with a noon start. The network also announced that the Nov. 27 season finale at Michigan will also be on FOX with its traditional noon time slot.
