Ohio State came into the 2020-21 season with an interesting situation in the post. After three years of Kaleb Wesson developing into one of the best centers in the Big Ten and declaring for the NBA Draft the offseason prior, the Buckeyes lacked a true dominant five. Throughout the season, the Scarlet and Gray made due. Senior Kyle Young and sophomore EJ Liddell served as the team’s starting big men and played most of the minutes at the four and five with freshman Zed Key coming off the bench. Senior Seth Towns and junior Justice Sueing occasionally were asked to fill in at the four.
