Ohio State women receive at-large bid to NCAA rowing championships

The Ohio State women’s rowing team received an at-large bid to compete in the NCAA Championships, to be held May 28-30 in Sarasota, Florida. Ohio State’s First Varsity Four and Second Varsity Eight boats are seeded No. 6. The First Varsity Eight is seeded No. 7. The Buckeyes are one of 22 teams who will compete at the championships and one of 12 at-large teams.  OSU has competed in 20 of the past 22 NCAA championships, with national titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015. OSU was second in 2016, third in 2007 and fourth in 2001 and 2005. The Buckeyes finished fifth in 2019, the last time an NCAA Championship was held.
