COLUMBUS, Ohio — Prior to the 2015 season, Ohio State football’s loaded defending national championship team was ranked No. 1 in the preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Buckeyes held that spot — somewhat precariously — for the first eight weeks of the season. After a 28-14 victory over Minnesota on Nov. 7, they dropped to No. 2, and Clemson took over the top spot. Two weeks later came a loss to Michigan State on ESPN’s College GameDay. Ohio State has not been ranked No. 1 since. We spent Monday’s episode of Buckeye Talk debating where the Buckeyes will be ranked in the 2021 preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll.
