COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football opens the season Sept. 2 at Minnesota. We are counting down the best 50 players the Buckeyes will face on that 2021 schedule. No. 30: Indiana TE Peyton Hendershot 6-4, 250 pounds, senior 2020 stats: In eight games, totaled 151 yards and four touchdowns on 23 receptions, averaging 6.6 yards per catch. What he has done: Hendershot came to the Hoosiers from rural Tri-West High School, a three-star prospect ranked outside the national top 1,000 in the 247 Sports composite. Yet by his redshirt sophomore season he had transitioned into one of IU’s most important offseason weapons. His 52 receptions and 622 yards both set programs records for a tight end.
