
COLUMBUS, Ohio — All members of Ohio State football’s 2021 recruiting class are officially college students after J.T. Tuimoloau joined the team this week. The five-star defensive end is among the seven members of the 22-man class who did not enroll early for spring practice and showed up this summer. Tuimoloau (pronounced too-ee-moe-low-ow) was the final member to arrive after putting off his commitment until July 4 in favor of taking his official visits. He chose OSU over Oregon, USC and Washington. He and fellow 2021 signee Jack Sawyer are the highest-rated defensive players the program has ever signed. Other freshman newcomers include Mike Hall Jr., Jordan Hancock, Donovan Jackson, Jakailin Johnson, Jaylen Johnson and Andre Turrentine. Jersey numbers are yet to be assigned.
