Is Ohio State’s third 2022 OL commit still a mystery? Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


CLEVELAND, Ohio — There is still work to be done if Ohio State wants to add a third offensive tackle in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Approximately five weeks ago, offensive line coach Greg Studrawa seemed to have made progress towards finalizing the position group. The Buckeyes hosted six uncommitted rising senior offensive linemen on official visits. So far, only one has chosen Ohio State. OSU’s lone OL commit was 4-star George Fitzpatrick from Cherry Creek (Englewood, Colo.) High School, the lowest rated prospect (No. 29 OT in 2022) that Studrawa hosted. That is no slight to Fitzpatrick, as recruiting rankings aren’t a pure indication of a prospect’s potential.
