Schedule COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s hockey team will host seven nonconference games, along with traveling for three out of league contests, in 2021-22. The Big Ten Conference portion of the schedule will be announced at a later date. The Buckeyes open the year on the road at Bentley Oct. 8-9 before hosting UConn Oct. 15-16 in Value City Arena. Conference play follows until Nov. 26-27, when the Buckeyes take on Mercyhurst in Columbus Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 26-27). Ohio State and Bowling Green will play a home-and-home series Dec. 16-17, with the Falcons hosting game one and Buckeyes hosting game two. On New Year’s Eve the Buckeyes will welcome LIU for a contest, with game two of the series vs. the Sharks on New Year’s Day.
