
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson on Friday clarified that receiver Garrett Wilson’s limited participation in Thursday’s practice was a case of load management. Garrett Wilson did not participate in team drills during the four periods visible to reporters on Thursday. Instead he worked out separately with some other players known to be recovering from injuries. Kevin Wilson on Friday said the receiver “was good today.” He attributed Thursday’s deviation to an ongoing endeavor not to overwork players in the preseason.
