Ohio State senior wide receiver Chris Olave and fifth-year senior defensive tackle Haskell Garrett were named first-team preseason All-Americans by the Associated Press on Monday afternoon, while fifth-year senior offensive tackle Thayer Munford and junior wide receiver Garrett Wilson garnered second-team honors. A former three-star prospect form San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills, Olave has caught 111 passes for 1,775 yards and 22 touchdowns in his three-year career with the Buckeyes. He’s also been named to the preseason watch lists for the Maxwell and Biletnikoff awards, as well as a preseason All-American by Athlon Sports, Phil Steele, Sporting News and the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
