Philip Montgomery knew his Tulsa team wouldn’t be rattled by the stage or the opponent. He knew if the Hurricane was effective and avoided costly mistakes, it would have a chance to compete with No. 9 Ohio State on Saturday afternoon. And for much of the game at Ohio Stadium, Montgomery and Co. went toe-to-toe with one of the top programs in college football despite being a four-touchdown underdog on the road.
