Who are Ohio State football’s top 30 players through six games?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football team is 5-1 heading into a bye week, and six games are enough to reevaluate this team’s preseason expectations. On both sides of the ball, some players who’ve been everything people thought they’d be. Some have outplayed those expectations regardless of how high or low they were. Then some haven’t quite lived up to them. What’s clear is that the Buckeyes have identified their best players. That was easier said than done on defense, where the choices were either a returning veteran who wasn’t up to par in 2020 or a young player with no experience but potentially high ceiling if you were willing to deal with the growing pains.
