
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Six weeks into the 2021 college football season, nobody knows who will win the Heisman Trophy. There are players who have started making cases, but none are strong enough quite yet. For some, it’s the lack of quality opponents. Others had their first chance at a potential Heisman moment but failed to answer the call. Then some who have Heisman-level ability but haven’t been provided the proper runway to show it because of circumstances. That might be the case for two Ohio State football players. Starting next Saturday, they’ll finally get their chance. In 2019, the Buckeyes had multiple players who had a case for why they could find themselves in New York at the end of the season.
