
COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the second straight day, Ohio State football’s 2022 recruiting class has added a member and this time it’s offensive lineman Avery Henry of St. Clairsville High School. The three-star recruit is started as the nation’s No. 1323 player and No. 123 offensive tackle. He chose the Buckeyes just days after earning an offer and a month after decommitting from Iowa State. This is the second time in the last two cycles OSU has flipped an in-state player from the cyclones with the other being Miyan Williams in 2020. Ohio State wanted at bare minimum three offensive linemen in its 2021 class and Henry gives them that with two being in-state guys.
