Ohio State star wide receiver Garrett Wilson is set to return against Purdue on Saturday afternoon after missing last week’s game at Nebraska with an undisclosed injury. He was not among the 15 players who were listed as unavailable on the Buckeyes’ pregame status report and participated in practices throughout the week. Coach Ryan Day did not elaborate much on Wilson’s progression, but said on Thursday that he had gone through “a good week of practice.” Before he was sidelined for the first time in his three seasons with the Buckeyes, Wilson had been Ohio State’s leading receiver with 43 catches for 687 and six touchdowns through eight games.
