
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Some questions remain about the position Caden Curry will play for Ohio State football, and those will be answered in due time. The more immediate question as Wednesday’s start of the early signing period approached was whether this signing class included enough defensive line talent. With 2021 freshmen J.T. Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer both potentially on a three-year plan and Tyliek Williams also starting strong this season, personnel projections in the trenches began to thin out by 2024. Curry, a 6-3, 250-pound product of Center Grove High School in suburban Indianapolis, now joins edge rusher Kenyatta Jackson as potential third-year answers in that not-so-distant season. Curry, though, may be able to contribute earlier than that. He has played defensive end, but may profile more as a 3-technique tackle.
