Ohio State forward E.J. Liddell has been named first-team all-Big Ten by both the coaches and media and freshman Malaki Branham earned third-team honors. Liddell is the first Ohio State player to repeat as first-team all-Big Ten since Jared Sullinger in 2011 and 2012. Last season, Liddell was picked to the first team by the league’s coaches and second team by the media. The Buckeyes have now had 19 first-team all-conference selections.
