COLUMBUS, Ohio — Last in a series of evaluations of Ohio State football’s 2022 NFL Draft class. Haskell Garrett secured his Ohio State football legacy with one big tackle late in the first half of the 2020 season opener. Less than two months after being shot in the face, the defensive tackle returned to record that sack of then-Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez. For the rest of the season, he combined with Tommy Togiai to give the Buckeyes a disruptive interior combination, which came up big in wins over Penn State, Clemson and others. While Togiai headed to the NFL, Garrett remained behind to lead the defensive front. His 5.5 sacks led all Buckeyes, and he continued his penchant for coming through in big moments.
