
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has watched its defensive recruiting pickup with three commitments last weekend, and that run of success continues with the addition of Jason Moore of DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland. The nation’s No. 52 player and No. 5 defensive lineman chose the Buckeyes over 20 other schools, with Penn State, Notre Dame and Michigan also getting official visits. He joins in-state commit Will Smith Jr. as defensive linemen in the class while also being the class’ fifth top 100 commit. The four-star recruit joins cornerbacks Kayin Lee, Calvin Simpson-Hunt and Jermaine Matthews as defensive players OSU has landed since wrapping a month of official visits in June.
