Ohio State back in top spot in recruiting rankings after landing 4-star DL Jason Moore


Ohio State made a defensive line splash and scored a win over Notre Dame in the race for the top 2023 recruiting class Sunday with the commitment of four-star, top-100 prospect Jason Moore out of DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md. Moore, the No. 53 overall prospect and No. 5 defensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite, was closely considering Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State. He also made an official visit to Michigan and had offers from Alabama, LSU, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma and others. Based on that offer list, this has to count as one of the Buckeyes’ more impressive wins this cycle. The commitment pushes the Buckeyes back ahead of Notre Dame for the No. 1 class in the country.
