CLEVELAND, Ohio — Where are you, Buckeye Nation? Ohio State University fans are known for their unwavering devotion to all things Scarlet and Gray. So, when we asked readers to show their Buckeye pride by sending in pictures of their furry family members sporting the team colors, we were pleased to see cute dogs and cats dressed to the nines in their gameday gear. Once the Top 10 finalists were announced, we expected the voting for the Best-Dressed Ohio State Pet to be fierce. But sadly, OSU fans have been slow to show their support. As of 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, less than 1,000 votes have been cast. Boots, the only feline to advance to the finals, is currently on top in the poll with more than 27 percent of the votes.
